The one-line pitch

KIVORA is not a game about catching creatures. It is a game about trust.

Short description (50 words)

KIVORA is an open-world creature-collector RPG in early development. There is no capture item. Some Vora need help, some test you, some only come close when they feel safe. When a real bond forms, a pact begins — and a wild creature becomes a companion with a story of its own.

What makes it different

  • The Pact System. Companionship is earned through behaviour, not thrown items.
  • Evolutions that answer a question. Brakko's crystal crest glows brighter the more afraid he is. His paths ask: what does he do with that fear? One becomes protection, one becomes motion.
  • A starter that matches you. A dream sequence asks personal questions; your first partner emerges from your answers, not from a menu.
  • 15 creatures with inner themes. Trust after being hurt. Courage despite fear. Setting boundaries. Torn in two.

About the developer

Ömer Ali Acar is a professional 3D artist from Germany (o-a-design.de), working on high-end 3D animation. KIVORA grew between client projects over several years — a creature world he kept returning to, sketching and rewriting, because one question never let go of him: what if your companion isn't caught, but has to choose you?

Honest note on AI

The concept visuals shown during this early phase were created with AI-assisted tools to visualise the world, the Vora and trailer previews. The creative foundation — world, creatures, lore, Dream System, Pact System, evolution logic, art direction and writing — is original human work by the developer.

Final in-game assets and gameplay systems will be created and produced during production. This is disclosed on Kickstarter, itch.io and here, because you should hear it from us first.
